From a decade of one-on-one work with students emerged The College Lad Method for the SAT and ACT.
Most test prep books offer piles of practice problems instead of practical advice for how to work through questions. Worse, that pile of practice problems often fails to reflect the way the SAT and ACT design questions.
Our curriculum is designed to provide clear, efficient, common sense methods to crack the SAT and ACT without overcomplicating things. It includes focused strategies for each section of the test, in addition to a comprehensive overview of the concepts tested.
You can make the most of the curriculum by working through it alongside the Official SAT or ACT Guide. These books contain practice tests written by the actual test writers

1-1 Private Tutoring
As much as we’re big believers in the power of self-prep using our Method alongside official materials from ACT or The College Board, there’s no substitute for 1-1 tutoring.
Courses don’t have time or incentive to give personalized attention. Self-prep can plateau if an approach to certain question types isn’t clicking. ISEE students may not yet have developed the necessary study skills to adequately prepare, and few course are available at all.
We fill this gap with expert personalized instruction. We can present concepts in new ways and experiment with multiple strategies so that one stick with you through your test.
